How to Create a Khatmah

  1. 1

Tap the + button in the tab bar to start a new khatmah.

  2. 2

Choose Salawat as the type of khatmah you're creating.

  3. 3

Fill in a title. The group or family name is optional; it's what shows as the creator instead of your own name, for something more collective, like "The Khan Family" or "Friends of Ahmad."

  4. 4

Set a goal: how many Salawat you're aiming for as a group total. Choose who can join: Public, Invite Only, or Just Me.

  5. 5

Set a timeline: pick a target date, or use a quick option. Upon Completion finishes the khatmah whenever the goal is reached, rather than on a fixed date.

  6. 6

Add a Virtual Dua Call now if you already have a link and date, or skip it and add one later from Manage.

  7. 7

  8. 8

How to Commit Your Recitation

  1. 1

Open a Salawat khatmah and find Log an Amount. Tap a quick amount, or Custom to enter your own number. Or tap Add One like a tasbeeh counter, adding 1 to a running count with each tap.

  2. 2

Confirm by tapping the Log button. Tapped Add One too many times? Undo Last Entry removes one tap at a time from that count.

  3. 3

Your recitation is added to the total and shows up under Recent Activity, with an entry for each time you logged. Tap the pencil on any entry to edit or delete it.

How to Edit Your Recitation

  1. 1

Under Recent Activity, tap the pencil next to an entry you logged.

  2. 2

Change the amount and tap Save. This updates the overall total. Or tap Delete This Entry to remove it.

How to Manage Your Khatmah

  1. 1

From your khatmah, tap the slider icon in the top right to open Manage.

  2. 2

Everything you can do as creator or admin lives here: edit details, extend the timeline, manage participants, promote or revoke admins, schedule a dua call, or delete the khatmah.

Tap Save Changes when you're done.

Extend Timelines

  1. 1

Pick a new end date, or use one of the quick options: 1 week, 1 month, or Upon Completion. Tap Save Timeline to confirm.

Manage Participation

  1. 1

Manage Participation lists every member who has logged Salawat and how much, so you can review their entries as an admin.

  2. 2

Tap a participant to see their entries, then tap Edit on one to change it.

  3. 3

Change the amount and tap Save to update it on the submitter's behalf. Or tap Delete This Entry to remove it.

Members & Roles

  1. 1

The Khatmah Creator is always an admin and can't be removed. Admins can manage the khatmah just like the creator.

  2. 2

Tap Make Admin next to a member to give them admin permissions too.

Virtual Dua Calls

  1. 1

Add a live call link and a date/time. Everyone in the khatmah sees it once it's scheduled, and you can come back to add or edit it any time.

  2. 2

Tap Save to confirm, or Remove Dua Call to take it down.

Delete a Khatmah

  1. 1

In Manage, scroll to Delete This Khatmah at the bottom. This ends it for everyone and can't be undone.

Recover a Deleted Khatmah

  1. 1

On Home, scroll down to Recently Deleted. A deleted khatmah stays here for 3 days before it's archived for good, and your hasanaat is always saved.

  2. 2

Open it and tap Go to Manage.

  3. 3

Tap Recover this Khatmah. It's restored right away, and everyone sees it as active again.
